HOW MUCH SPACE DO I NEED PER INDOOR A-FRAME TENT?
Our mattresses at Starlight Parties are quality IKEA foam junior size mattresses making more room to enjoy your event but not lacking in size.
Each tent is approximately 85cm wide x 1.6m long. The tents can be set up in any given format that best suits the layout of your room.
IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE FOR TENT HIRE?
Our tents are not recommended for children under 5 Years of age.

HOW MUCH SPACE DO I NEED FOR THE GRAND BELL OUTDOOR TENT?
We have 2 Grand Bell Tents
1. Grand Bell Ultimate Pro Tent is 5 meters x 5 meters but it has rope that needs to be attached so requires additional space, its safe to say that you need 6.7 meters x 6.7 meters & the tent has to be on flat glassed or dirt area as it needs to be pegged into earth.
2. Grand Bell Protech Tent with mesh walls is 4.5 meters x 4.5 meters but it has rope that needs to be attached so requires additional space, its safe to say that you need 6.2 meters x 6.2 meters & the Tent has to be on flat glassed or dirt area as it needs to be pegged into earth.
IS THE GRAND BELL TENT WATERPROOF?
yes it is, the tent is canvas and if it rains it won't affect the inside of the tent but please be mindful of mud as there may be an excess cleaning fee in the event mud has been tracked in.
HOW MUCH SPACE DO I NEED FOR THE OUTDOOR INFLATABLE CINEMA?
Its good to have a nice amount of space so it doesn't feel over cramped, the cinema you need a length of about 3 meters and about 2 meters width just for the screen,again on grassed lawn as it must be pegged into earth.
KEEPING OF GOODS FROM THE OUTDOOR CINEMA.
When we deliver your party hire we will setup the cinema screen in your desired location, the screen zips off and is required to stay off until close to when your guests are arriving, once the movie is over again the screen must be zipped off. If it rains, you must take the screen off as raindrops will affect the picture.
We will setup the projector but this must stay inside undercover until the movie is played, if it rains you are not allowed to take or play this setup outside under any conditions or you will be responsible for costs to fix or replace.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
We constantly check the weather radar before your party and if its raining the morning of your party we have a couple of options.
If you give us enough notice of postponement, we will change the date of your event if bad weather threatens your plans.Our inflatable screen is of a good size and if it rains the screen can be setup inside your house, if not we recommend you plan an alternative undercover or indoor venue.
If in the event this isn't an option we unfortunately we don't offer refunds due to bad whether but are happy to give you a full credit note or the full amount your party cost to be used at a later date, valid up to 12 months.
WHAT PAYMENT IS REQUIRED?
We require a $100 deposit to secure your date, with the remaining balance to be paid 7 days prior to the sleepover date.
A fully refundable security bond of $100 per item, if you hire our Grand Bell and cinema the bond will be $200. This is payable at the time of setup.
CANCELLATION OF A PARTY
If you need to cancel a party that is OK with us, we do not give refunds for any money paid but do offer a credit note for the full amount, if in the event for some reason cancellation is at my request I will give you a full refund back to your nominated account.
DO YOU OFFER DELIVERY & SETUP?
Yes. Our package prices include delivery and set up of the tents and accessories
and then we return the following day to pack up.
Delivery is free anywhere between South Brisbane, Rocklea, Forest Lake, Coomera, and Victoria Point.
For delivery outside this area, please contact us for a quote.
HOW ARE THE TENTS & BEDDING CLEANED?
Linen and teepee covers are laundered after each hire. Mattresses are only hired with protectors to ensure strict hygiene All items are stored in a smoke-free, pet-free environment.
WHAT IS THE HIRE PERIOD?
Standard hire period is for one night.
Given its just myself and I can sometimes have multiple bookings in one day times may be varied, but to give an indication times below
Friday bookings setup is 1:00pm
Saturday bookings set up is 3:00pm
Pack up is the following day 10:00am
We can try cater to your needs and are flexible for set-up times, please contact us prior to party when holding your date to avoid disappointment.
