HOW MUCH SPACE DO I NEED PER INDOOR A-FRAME TENT?

Our mattresses at Starlight Parties are quality IKEA foam junior size mattresses  making more room to enjoy your event but not lacking in size. 

Each tent  is approximately 85cm wide x 1.6m long. The tents can be set up in any given format that best suits the layout of your room. 

IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE FOR TENT HIRE?

Our tents are not recommended for children under 5 Years of age.

WHAT BEDDING COMES WITH THE INDOOR TEEPEE PACKAGES?

Fitted sheets

HOW MUCH SPACE DO I NEED FOR THE GRAND BELL OUTDOOR TENT?

We have 3 Bell Tents Sizes with 6 tents total:

1. 4.5m Bell Tent with mesh walls is 4.5m x 4.5m but needs 5.5m x 5.5m of reasonably flat grassed or dirt area as it needs to be staked into the ground.

2. 5m Double Door Bell Tent with mesh walls and 2 doorways and our 5m Bell Tent are 5m x 5m but needs 6m x 6m of reasonably flat grassed or dirt area as it needs to be staked into the ground. Please note: the 5m Bell Tent does not have mesh walls and therefore we only recommend it for cooler months.

3. 6m Double Door Bell Tent with mesh walls and two doorways is 6m x 6m but needs 7m x 7m of reasonably flat grassed or dirt area as it needs to be staked into the ground. We tend to recommend this for any chill out zones if you have the space as the extra room and doors allows for better airflow and therefore a cooler hire period.

IS THE GRAND BELL TENT WATERPROOF?

Yes it is, the tent is canvas and if it rains it won't affect the inside of the tent but please be mindful of mud as there may be an excess cleaning fee in the event mud has been tracked in. Just like any tent, there may be leakage if things are touching the sides or if it's torrential pouring.

HOW MUCH SPACE DO I NEED FOR THE OUTDOOR INFLATABLE CINEMA?

Its good to have a nice amount of space so it doesn't feel over cramped, the cinema you need a length of about 3 meters and about 2 meters width just for the screen plus 4m clearance for the projector; again on grassed lawn as it must be pegged into earth. 

KEEPING OF GOODS FROM THE OUTDOOR CINEMA.

When we deliver your party hire we will setup the cinema screen in your desired location after consultation for weather. We will setup the projector but this must stay inside/undercover until the movie is played, if it rains you are not allowed to take or play this setup outside under any conditions or you will be responsible for costs to fix or replace. Once finished with the electronics, simply pick up the stool and carry inside. We will pack it when we arrive to pick it up.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

Slumber Party and Indoor Camp Out

This is an indoor only hire so you’re good to go and we won’t rain on your parade. Please check the below cinema information though if you have also added a cinema to your party.

Cinema 

We are constantly checking the weather radar before your party and if it’s raining the morning of your party we have a couple of options:

You have until 8am on the party day to reschedule if bad weather (rain, storms, fire or smoke) threatens your plans.

Our inflatable screen is of a good size and if it rains the screen can be setup inside your house, if not we recommend you plan an alternative undercover or indoor venue.

If in the event neither option is possible, we are unable to offer a refund but we are happy to give you a credit to be used within 12 months for the cinema and any applicable extras.

Bell Tent
Our bell tents are waterproof so you may proceed with your event/party but please be careful not to track mud into the tent as this will incur an excess cleaning fee up to $100 depending on how much extra cleaning is required.

Alternatively, you may decide to postpone your event for no additional charge but we need to know by 8am the morning of your event.

Please do not hesitate to call or email with any concerns in the lead up to your hire.

WHAT PAYMENT IS REQUIRED?

We require a $100 deposit to secure your date, with the remaining balance to be paid 7 days prior to your booking.

CANCELLATION OF A PARTY 

COVID19 Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation is permitted but we would appreciate you trying to reschedule so we can assist you to make long lasting memories. In the event you are unable to reschedule; a full refund may be available if the party is cancelled due to QLD restrictions and is subject to our approval.

We will be closely monitoring any COVID-19 restrictions and will be in contact if you party is unable to go ahead due to restrictions. We have amended our Cancellation policy during this time in an effort to be fair.
 

Non-COVID19 Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation is permitted but we would appreciate you trying to reschedule so we can assist you in making memories. If in the event you are unable to reschedule the following cancellation policy applies:

21 days prior to your hire, you are able to cancel a party with a full refund.

7-20 days prior to your hire you may cancel and will receive a full refund less the $100 deposit.

0-6 days prior to your hire and you forfeit the full amount paid as there we would not be able to re-hire with such short notice but you may reschedule up to 12 months in advance from the original booking date.. 

As stated though, please call us to discuss your situation as we will try to be reasonable and accommodating.

If in the unlikely event that Starlight Parties is unable to honour the booking and it cannot be rescheduled, then a full refund will be processed back to your nominated account.

DO YOU OFFER DELIVERY & SETUP?

Yes. Our package prices include delivery and set up of the tents and accessories

and then we return the following day to pack up.

Delivery is free within 25km of Beenleigh, QLD.

For delivery outside this area, please contact us for a quote.

WE DO NOT OFFER DIY OPTIONS AT THIS TIME DUE TO OUR PUBLIC LIABILITYINSURANCE.

HOW ARE THE TENTS & BEDDING CLEANED?

Linen and teepee covers are laundered after each hire. Mattresses are only hired with protectors to ensure strict hygiene  All items are stored in a smoke-free environment.

WHAT IS THE HIRE PERIOD?

Standard hire period is for one night.

Although we sometimes need to setup or pickup a day either side. Setup times ma vary as we usually have multiple bookings in one day but we aim to have everything done by 4pm at the latest and the bell tents are usually first to avoid the heat of the day.  

We can try cater to your needs and are flexible for set-up times, please contact us prior to party when holding your date to avoid disappointment.
